Physician Wellness Workshop Suite
The PHP is in the process of developing a series of 6 wellness workshops that organizations will be able to request PHP to deliver. Our first two workshops on self-compassion and healthy boundary setting are ready for piloting with a few groups this Fall. We are looking for organizations who would be able to gather a group of 10-25 physicians to participate in a 2-hour interactive physician wellness workshop as a pilot group. Participants will be asked to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement after the workshop. Please indicate interest by September 15th, 2026.
Wellness Measurement Support in partnership with Welldoc Canada
PHP is partnering with Welldoc Canada to offer physician wellness measurement support within physician organizations as a pilot initiative. Welldoc Canada will work with you to tailor a short physician wellness survey (15-20 mins) composed of validated scales and selected questions, summarize findings and host a post-measurement retreat where members and leaders will be engaged in a guided discussion on how to leverage the results to make positive changes in their workplace. The survey is designed to assess the wellness at a group/organizational level rather than the individual, gauge burnout, identify drivers of poor physician wellness and identify strategies to enhance wellness. The whole process from initial planning to the retreat can take 4-8 months. Please indicate interest by September 15th 2026.
Hosting the Shame Lab in BC
PHP is gauging interest in the potential of bringing the Shame Lab by Dr. Will Bynum and Dr. Luna Dolezal to BC to host three 2-day in-person workshops on Shame Competence in Medicine in different regions across BC. Each workshop will consist of five integrated modules designed to build participants’ knowledge, skills and confidence in recognizing, responding to, and working constructively with shame in healthcare settings. Please indicate interest by September 9th 2026.
